Yours of this A M is in hand and inreply I
have to inform you that we hve run a train of cars to the Bridge daily
at 7 oclock a. m. and returned at 6 Oclock p. m. since 22d Oct for the
accommodation of those in Gov employ and why the force mentioned have
not availed themself of the opportunity can only be explained by
themself. |
This train is run at an expence of Forty
dollars per day which we are willing to continue so long as oil can be
procured. |

Train for Maj Morse leaves at 7 a.m. & returns at 6
p.m. The men employed on the Bridge all take this train, whereas
Capt K's men do not, altho they maybe there in time |
