| Three grindstones
belonging to the Va. Penitentiary are now at Raleigh, N. C. awaiting
transportation to this city & as they are very much needed by that
institution for the manufacture of axes for this Bureau, I
respectfully ask that the Rail Road authorities at Raleigh be
requested to give precedence to their transportation. |
