| Your letter of 26th inst. in regard to
"the propriety of expediting in every way possible the delivery
of iron for the Piedmont R. Road," has been received: Col. C. F.
M. Garnett who is charged with the duty of impressing & forwarding
to you the Roanoke Valley R. R. iron, has received instructions to
comply with your wishes, & assures me that he will make every
exertion to do so. |
