to state that I have not heard from Mr. Hazlehurst by letter or
telegraph. |
| I hope you will procure such action before
the adjournment of the Board as will give you full powers to negotiate
& contract with him or the owners of the negroes from Georgia. I
did hope Mr. Hazlehurst would be in the city today. |
