| Please instruct Capt Cogdell to secure the
requisite lumber & proceed at once with the construction of duplicates
for Weldon & Wilmington R. Rd. of the bridges over Quantey Creek,
Fishing Creek, Cotentnea Creek, Tar River and over the Neuse at
Goldsboro. Let the material secured be placed in position as secure as
possible from the enemy's raids. |
