| Unless prevented by very important duties
not admitting of delay, Genl. Gilmer desires you to come to Richmond
and report to this Bureau on Tuesday next, the 16th inst, in order to
assist in an inspection of a part of the Va. Central R. Rd. with a
view of ascertaining & reporting upon the condition of the track.
This duty will probably occupy you only a few days. Capt. J. M.
Robinson will be associated with you. Please acknowledge promptly. |
