A great portion of the work on the
Danville Road seems to be in getting out & hauling cross ties. Is
the timber nearest to the road whether pine or oak used, or do you
require oak exclusively. Please inform me what is the length of the
gap in the road, what number of cross ties can be got out daily with
the present force, and about what time there is a prospect of
finishing the road. |
