Montgomery Ala. to assist Mr Pollard in the repairs of the Montgomery &
West Point R. R. |
| On application from this Bureau, the Hon
Secy of War has authorized the removal of the iron from the Gainesville
branch of the Mobile & Ohio R. Rd. {Mississippi,
Gainesville & Tuscaloosa RR} in so doing however he directs that
negotiations be attempted for the purchase of the iron from the company
before having recourse to the power of impressment. |
