Col Northrup C. S. G. asking if consistent with the rules of his Dept.
that Maj Galt Comdg at Lynchburg be instructed to issue supplies to the
Engr Troops under Capt McCala on his requisitions. These troops are
detached from the Regt and are employed in rebuilding the Va & E. Tenn
R. R. {East Tennessee & Virginia RR} a work
of great importance to the supply of our armies. |
