| I have this day made
a requisition in your favor for $50000, which you can either disburse
yourself or turn over to Maj. Norquist, Chf Engr of Gen Buckner's
command, for the purpose of rebuilding bridges in East Tennessee. |
| As the rebuilding of
the bridges in E. Tenn. may consume the supply of framing and
materials on hand, you will please replace it, and, if you think
necessary add to it, without delay. |
