| Gentlemen, |
| You will take prompt measures to purchase
the iron on the Gainesville Branch {the
Mississippi, Gainesville & Tuscaloosa RR} of the Mobile
& Ohio Railroad -- if the purchase cannot be made on fair &
reasonable terms, then you will impress the same for the use of the
Government, observing strictly the laws & regulations, as
published in Genl Order No. 37 53 and 85 A&I GO Current series.
You will also purchase or impress the rolling stock & other iron
belonging to this Branch Road. |
