Garnett commissioner applying for detail of men from Major Collins
command to remove iron from the Fredericksburg RRd. |
| "Respy forwarded to the Hon. Secy of
War. It is urgently recommended that two companies of the command of
Major Collins be detailed for the removal of the iron from the
Fredericksburg RRd {Richmond, Fredericksburg
& Potomac RR}. Other labor cannot be had and the men
volunteer to do the work for such compensation as the Law allows. |
