| The bearer Mr. Jno. Shale is foreman &
manager of the hands collecting stone for the obstructions in James
River & by direction of Capt. Clarke is endeavoring to make arrangements
for collecting stone on the other side of the River. Mr. Shale will
explain such arrangements as are needed if you can assist him it will be
for the public interest & greatly oblige. |
