I am very anxious to secure the services
of Mr. James Lamb for collecting negroes in the counties recently
called in. I understand he is at Halifax C. H. May I ask of you
therefore the kindness to telegraph to Boston Station (I believe)
& secure some person to bear to Mr. Lamb my earnest wish to see
him at the earliest possible moment. Of course this Bureau will bear
all the necessary expense of message, messenger &c. Trusting this
note will not give you too much trouble, I am |
