Your letter of this date
informing me that you have no authority, nor has the company itself,
to sell the iron rails &c., of the Roanoke Valley Rail Road has
been received. |
Under the circumstances, it
becomes necessary, as you have been informed, to impress the iron
under the recent law of Congress, the commission mentioned to you in a
previous letter of this date will receive prompt instructions to take
all the necessary steps. |
