| I resp'y request that the bearer Mr.
Bragg, Road Way Supt. of the R. F. & P. R. R. {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR} be allowed to take from your
store (8000) eight thousand feet of 2" boards for which I will
receipt or pay on delivery. The Bureau has no lumber in hand suitable
for the purpose & the Hon Sec'y of War requested me to endeavor to
get this lumber for Mr. Bragg. |
