| On the 12th Apl you telegraphed that you
had shipped to this Bureau 4968 shovels & spades & as only
4800 arrived there are still 168 to be accounted for. As Maj Branch
shipd 4800 at Petersburg, the loss must have occurred between that
point & Wilmington. |

& have it corrected if possible. |
