of April 1864. Your acceptance together with the form of oath duly
subscribed & attested, should be forwarded without delay, through this
Bureau, to the A & I General. |

also find a copy of special orders No 103, p. XII A & I G. O. current
series, by which you are ordered to proceed to the Headqrs of the Army
of N. V. & report to Genl R. E. Lee for assignment to duty with his
Chief Engineer. |
