Cannot Capt. Clarke collect, with the
assistance of Capt. Dimmock, local Engineer at Petersburg, hand cars to
be crossed over the Black Water and used in removing back rail road
iron? There is no spare labor at the disposal of the Engineer
Department. Cannot fatigue parties assisted by Quartermasters service of
your Corps & directed by Capt. Clarke, save this iron. It is a matter of
great importance. |
