| I respy & most earnestly ask from you an
order for forage for twenty eight mules for ten days to be sent to
Hamiltons Crossing R. F. & P. R. R. {Richmond,
Fredericksburg & Potomac RR} consigned to Mr. J. P. Jeter agent
employed in removing R. R. iron from the track between Hamiltons
Crossing & Fredericksburg. This iron is to be used on the Piedmont R. R.
between Danville & Goldsboro' & the work is now delayed for the want of
it. The mules are all Govt. mules. The wagons are all Qr Mr wagons. Two
sent from Richmond & the others procured from Genl Young. |
