Harvie has been communicated by him to the Hon. Secy of War and to
this Bureau. |
| By tomorrows trains, I will send you ???
one hundred axes & helves to meet your immediate wants & will
endeavor to forward the pile driver as promptly as possible. You will
please return the axes as soon as the present exigency has passed,
& by making prompt use of the pile driver, enable yourself to
return it without delay when it is again requires at the Tree Hill
Bridge. Please let me know when I can have it again. |
