The amount of rain that fell during the
summer season within the state of Alabama will probably render it
necessary to have covers constructed over the evaporating salt basins;
at least, over those used in the final part of the process. These covers
must be movable & to this end it will be probably necessary to make them
in sections and as light in construction as possible. |
Will you please to give this subject
special consideration in your study of the works committed to your
charge at the Salines in Alabama. |
