| I can furnish you with six thousand pounds
of 5 in spikes, but have no 7 in spikes on hand at present. |
| The spike machine at the Old Dominion
Works has been for some time broken but is now repaired and will
probably have the 7 in spikes in a week or two. |

requisition forwarded by your approved for six thousand pounds of 5 in
spikes, which you can obtain from the Engr. Ware House. |
