| I am informed by Lt Col T. M. R. Talcott
Comdg 1st Regt of Engr. Troops that as his company officers are busily
engaged in drilling their men with a view to taking the field at an
early day, the services of Capt. Dickinson cannot be spared for a time
sufficiently long to permit him to aid Capt Myers in his survey of the
vicinity of Danville. |
