The reports of
various practical Rail road men seem to indicate that, in the Spring
street connection, the construction of an easier curve is far
preferred to a turn table and that it cost would not exceed ten
thousand dollars. If so please have the curve constructed and charge
to the Quarter Master Department. This is authorized by Lt. Col. F. W.
Sims Superintendent of Rail Road transportation. |
