| I have to request that $2000 be placed to
the credit of Capt. E. T. D. Myers of the Provisional Engineer Corps,
to enable him to make the surveys necessary to a satisfactory report
on the connection of the Danville and N. C. Central Rail Roads {Richmond
& Danville RR & North Carolina RR}. This
sum, I presume, should be drawn from the $1,000,000 lately
appropriated by Congress for executing the above connection. |
