letter of 18th Inst with it inclosures from Capt E. T. D. Myers and
from Messrs Ed Wilks & Bro. in reference to the delay experienced
in procuring a supply of iron for the line of the Piedmont R. R. |
| The matter has been fully discussed by
Col. C. F. M. Garnett, Lt Col F. W. Sims & myself and definite
conclusions arrived at to be submitted to you at once by Col. Garnett,
which it is hoped and believed will attain the desired end with the
least possible delay. |
