Dear Sir, |
Mr McFarland, Supt of the
{Richmond &} York River RR is very anxious
to secure until Thursday morning, the large flat boat, to be used in
raising pile driver. If Mr Fox is clearly of opinion that the pile
driver can be in is present position without danger until then, I have
no objection, in consideration of the importance of raising the "West
Point," to the flat being turned over to Mr McFarland for the time
specified. Of course, as the flat was obtained from Capt Mason, his
permission also should be obtained. |
Very Respy & truly Yours |
