C. Whiting about the disposition to be made of certain iron. |
"A note has just been received from
Capt. E. T. D. Myers, Chief Engineer of the Piedmont R. Rd. stating
that 40 miles of iron are needed first at Danville and then 8
1/4 miles are required at Greensboro. Iron sent to Danville from North
Carolina should go via Petersburg to the junction of the South Side R.
Rd. with the R. &. D. R. Rd. {Richmond &
Danville RR} & thence to Danville." |
