Alabama enquiring into the probability of the Ala. & Tenn. R. Rd.
Company {Alabama & Tennessee River RR}
procuring bolts from the Confederate States for the construction of the
link of R. Roads under your supervision, has been referred to this
Bureau. It has been suggested to me that on the completion of the Selma
& Meridian connection a large supply might be obtained from that
quarter. Your attention for enquiry and report is called to the subject. |
