received, Major Minor Meriwether will turn his attention promptly to
Pearl River Bridge. Now probably at Selma, en route. Your telegram in
regard to Kenneys slow progress has been laid before Col C. F. M.
Garnett, Commissioner. Make requisition for tools you need; we can
furnish a part if not all. If Capt Hogane's theodolite is a good
instrument purchase it for contingent use of Department for from two
to three hundred dollars, if he is willing to sell for such a sum. |
