Your letter of Octo 20th enclosing
resolutions adopted by the Ala. & Tenn. River Rail Road Co. and
desiring to know the terms of the contract expected of them to execute
for the construction of the proposed Rail Road from Blue Mountain Ala.
to Rome, Geo. has been received, having been referred to this Bureau
for answer. |
A copy of your letter with the enclosed
resolutions has been forwarded to Captain L. P. Grant of the Provl.
Engr. Corps who represents the Government and who will I doubt not,
consider with promptness any communications you Company may make him. |
He is now, it is presumed on the line of
the proposed road, and it is probable that a letter addressed to him
either at Jacksonville, Ala. or Rome, Geo. will reach him. |
