| I respectfully request that authority be
given to Capt G E Dickenson 1st Engr Regt to impress teams in Stafford
County to enable him to have as much of the railroad iron between
Fredericksburg and Acquia Creek as possible {on
the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR}. I further request
authority be given me to place funds in Capt Dickinson's hands to make
payments for the necessary expenditures incurred, and to delegate to
him such authority as I may deem judicious in regard to fixing terms
of settlement. |
