| Your telegram with regard to the three
miles of railroad iron received. Lt Williamson of the Engrs has been
directed to proceed to the Rappahannock for the purpose of saving it.
Please inform me whether any protection has been provided for the
party engaged in saving iron in Stafford County. {The
iron was on the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR.} |
