| It would greatly facilitate his duties, if
Col. C. F. M. Garnett Commissioner for the removal of R. R. iron,
could disburse Confederate funds to a limited amount. To this end, I
therefore respectfully request that he be authorized to give bond to
the amount of $5000 (five thousand) dollars, & become a disbursing
officer for equal amounts at a time. |
