| I am instructed by
the Secy of War to direct you to make promptly another effort to save
the iron &c from the Railroad between Fredericksburg and Aquia
Creek {the Richmond, Fredericksburg &
Potomac RR}. The Secretary deems the
present time favorable for the success of this enterprise and is
disposed to forward it by ordering if necessary, troops to assist in
the work. |
