| Endorsement on letter from G. N. Wren Chief Eng. S.
R. R. {Southern (of Mississippi) RR} dated
Jackson Miss Dec. 26th '62. Stating the condition of the western
section of the road, and urging that measures be at once taken to
improve it. I would respectfully recommend that the commanding general
in the State of Mississippi be authorized to impress the iron of the
two branch roads named by the Chief Engr of the Southern RR. This
company to pay a reasonable price for the same. |
