Has a number of carloads of scrap iron &
various portions of machinery which he thinks will be of use to the
Government, and says it is being stolen by the citizens & enemy, desires
some Govt. teams to haul it to Staunton, will pay for the same. Will
sell the iron to the Govt. at market price. |
