| I have received your note concerning the
shipment of cotton. I have to reply that while I should be very glad to
do anything to promote the interest of rail roads & consider that
transportation especially demands at present the aid of the government,
I have no authority over the shipment of other than government cotton &
for Govt supplies. I have no doubt that you can make arrangements with
private parties for the purpose. |
