| The General directs that for
fear it should be necessary to retreat you will keep all the rolling
stock at Victoria. Should you retreat you are directed to tear up the
track burning the ties and bending the iron of the track
{San Antonio & Mexican Gulf RR}. It is
hoped, however, that the place (Saluria,) will be strong enough to
resist all attacks. |
