| Terrell's Regiment having been
ordered to Beaumont via this place on the arrival of the detached
companies of Elmore's Regt at this Regimental Hd Qrs at Galveston, the
General directs that you give Maj. Morgan Comdg the Regiment, orders to
send the horses of his Regiment, now near Columbus to Montgomery in
Montgomery County. The wagons and mules of the Regt. except such number,
as are necessary to supply the horses with forage will be sent by Rail
Road to join the Regt when it arrives at this place. You can make the
timely arrangements. |
