| VIII Capt Dalhiell Commanding light Battery
will march with his battery without delay to Columbus, his guns,
caissons, company property &c &c all the men not necessary to carry the
horses will go by rail road tomorrow morning
{Buffalo Bayou, Brazos & Columbia RR}. He will send his horses by
wagon road directly to Columbus as rapidly as possible in charge of such
number of men as may be necessary. The Qr Mr & Subsistence departments,
will make the necessary arrangements. He will report his arrival at
Columbus promptly to these Head Quarters. He can draw Subsistence stores
at Columbus. |
