I am directed by Maj Genl Gilmer to say to you that he
desires you will give instructions to your agents now at work removing
iron from the Statesville Road {Atlantic,
Tennessee & Ohio RR}, that only so much of the iron must be taken
as is necessary for completing the repairs on the Richmond & Danville
Road. If however all the iron on the Statesville Road should be needed
for this purpose it must all be taken. |
