The connection between Lawton and Live Oak is under rapid construction.
The grading about finished, the trestle work far advanced & several
miles of iron laid down. This connection gives but little work for the
Government. Will be finished by 1st Oct. next. It ought not to be
abandoned now. It will meet all the wants of the Government. The
Monticello connection would take much work and time. |
