| The road is already as much
under my control as it can be. You must send men to cut wood for miles
and you are authorized to call on Dr. Emanuel for transportation
{Southern (of Mississippi) RR}. You must
see to this matter yourself. The road cannot supply every thing at the
same time. You are aware that the heavy rains have seriously damaged it.
