| Inform the Superintendent of
N. O. J. & G. N. RR {New Orleans, Jackson & Great
Northern RR} that military necessity requires the suspension of
Passenger trains and all but Government trains on their Road and on Miss
C. R. R. {Mississippi Central RR} until
further orders. Inform the officers of both Roads that I have ordered
Col Morrison's Regt to go at once to Vicksburg. Nothing must interfere. |
