| Genl. Smith directs Capt. Monsarrat to
take charge of the Rolling Stock of the Rail-roads from Bristol to
Chattanooga & the Steamboat on the river to remove the Commissary stores
east of Knoxville, to Lynchburg Va. & those west of Knoxville to
Atlanta. Your suggestion as to Superintendent Hall is a god one. Confer
