Houston. A Contract has been entered into between the Confederate States
Government and the Texas & New Orleans Rail Road Company, wherein it is
agreed that all transportation shall be charged in account against the
Government; Consequently no transportation will be paid for by Quarter
Masters. |
| You will require the officers
of said Road to render to you monthly accounts of all transportation
charged against the Government, allowing not more than ten days after
the expiration of each month for the ??dition of such accounts or
statements. |
