Number one -- Genl Maury directs: Issue order authorizing such officers
a Genl Gandner may designate to impress ten negroes for duty in Engineer
Dept also an order for such officer as Maj Young designates to impress
two hundred negroes for Maj Whitfield, to work on Rail Road. Genl Taylor
has been telegraphed to send bridge force. |
