When the negroes ordered from Ga., to report to your
Department arrive the Lieut Genl Commanding desires that you will send
sixty of them to report to Major S. Hillyer Q. M. Selma, Ala. |

Also that at the earliest moment they can be spared from
Engineering works, fifty negroes with spades & shovels and their
overseers, be ordered to report to Maj. Whitfield Q. M. at this point,
for two weeks. |
